This is a simple problem that, I hope, has a simple answer:

When I setup a keygroup and then a q link to control, for example, send 1, how do I stop the value shooting to zero or maximum with every note?

I only see the note on option which seems to work that every time a note strikes the q link value returns to min or max. Why can't I choose a real time option within keygroups?

Or is there a work around for this?

Sort of need it for performing live :hmmm:

Automation is a mess right now in the Ren, we can only automate one pad at a time for a program!!!! not sure about key groups but sounds like you recorded some automation, which I am surprised you did seeing as maybe 8% of total mpc software right now is able to automate, but yeah, under sequence window, you should see automation, drop down, see if anything is automat-able is recorded and delete it.

It's very strange. No automation recorded. No hidden CC data information that I can see and yet with every note hit the q link value goes back to zero (minimum)

If there was a realtime option when setting up qlinks in keygroup it would solve this instantly.

:x

This has happened to me before and believe me, I couldn't figure out what it was for my life. Most likely scrapped that project and made a new one, probably the only solution was to do so. This product is a joke right now, anyone satisfied with a Ren/Studio in it's current state obviously never got hands on with mv, 4000, or a well functioning DAW.

Anyways sounds like a glitched out project, just start over and save yourself the stress :smoker:
