anyone have experience with one of these? what's a decent price for one? I mainly want it for triggering drum samples, prolly run samples through it too.

Then use notemode on the push to play the chops.
Ensoniq has non resonant filters on the EPS16+, but you can add LFO's to your samples and layer the heck out of your drums. If you do your homework and reading on waveform synthesis and can chop tight samples from records you can make some interesting sounds.
A single instrument can have 8 sounds, but you can select multiple instruments at once.
Did i mention the reverb effect on this sampler is excellent?
