how do you find the bpm of a sample in the mpc essentials software thanks in advance guys

Mpc software doesn't have bpm detect so manually

Yes, until they add in a tempo calculation function, it is either manually, or load it into some other software that will let you calculate the tempo, or do the calculation yourself, based on the length of the sample and number of beats/bars.

Not a feature I need but a feature thats blows my mind into another universe seeing it's 2014 and mpc's flagship sampler can't even detect bpms in sample lol

If the sample is 2 bars long, for example, trigger it at beat 1/bar 1 of 2 bar sequence, play it with loop on, adjust the tempo until it sounds like it loops correctly, without having an audible gap, or coming in too quickly, at the loop point.
