my tracks WILL NOT delete after i press do it button

Hi Mpc forum,

I just recently bought a mpc 500 ...nd i swear for the ife of me i dont understand why im having this problem:

PROBLEM:

When im about to lay dowm a beat...1st, i am suppose toset my BPM then the sewuence automatically changes from "UNUSED" to Sequence 1...(which it did)
Next, ....I go to track screen, hit PARAMS it says: DELETE ALL
but when i press " DO IT" it doesnt delete and my tracks still dont say unused as they should

All i gitta day is thos is some bs....can anyone on here PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY PROBLEM IM HAVING.

This parameter lets you delete a sequence 1. 2. 3. 4. Press the [SEQUENCE] button to make sure you are in Sequence mode. Press the [PARAMS] button, and scroll with the [DATA] wheel in the top 'Parameter' field to choose Delete sequence. Select the 'Sequence' field. Use the [DATA] wheel to choose a sequence you would like to delete. Press the [DO IT] button to delete the sequence.
