I want to play out with my guitar (charlie hunter 8 string guitar - 5 guitar strings and 3 bass strings) and backing tracks.
I want to know if an MPC Renaissance can play back stereo wav files.
I produce/record/mix my songs in Pro Tools 11 and plan on bouncing down loops: intro... verse... chorus... etc to play back live.
I want to be able to set up a song so I can stay on a loop for X amount of time (or just have it play once) prior to moving onto the next loop. Every loop will be a stereo wav file bounced directly from PT|HD. I check them in loop playback mode to ensure that they are seamless loops.
Can I use song mode on the MPC Renaissance to do this? That is, can an MPC sequence be a stereo wav file that I can assign as a step to a song?
Can I also assign mono/stereo wav files to the pads, so I can trigger them while my song is playing in song mode?
I also want to set up a footswitch so that I can start/stop and move to the next sequence (sudden or at the end of the loop)
This has been relatively frustrating, as it does not seem like many people are doing this with an MPC. Please help.
Thanks.
