hi!

it has always been possible to turn on a mutet track even if it was playing a sample at this moment.now i have 2 track, both are playing long samples and if i want to switch between this two tracks, i won't hear the 2nd sample if it wasnt unmuted when the sample started(beginning of the loop). that what my mpc 1000 used to do in track mute, i actually was very happy that the ren is able to switch tracks instantly. now i have this project, dont wanna start over and i just dont know why track mute is that screwed up,what did i do guys?

also samples won't stop if i mute the track

i hope you understand what i'm talking about here, hard to explain with my bad english skills.

thanks!!

In 'preferences' do you have "instant track mute" selected (under 'sequences')??

I think you're saying that there is a delay when in track mute mode on the hardware-- that it waits until the start of the next bar or sequence to mute or unmute?

What's your setup ie computer, os, hardware?

I ask because I recall a couple of days where I had a similar thing happen in track mute mode-- it was as if I couldn't get certain tracks to mute-on/off at certain times (without me ever changing the settings in preferences). Possible bug I don't know.(MPC Studio OSX Mavericks.)
