Used ASR-10 broken

Theres a pawn shop by me that has a used Ensoniq ASR-10 its screen does not light the led buttons flicker I dont know much about these are they expensive to fix and whats a good price i thought maybe 100$ It is the keyboard not the rack Thanks

Sheeeeeit… I'd buy it to fix up or just for extra parts for my working ASR… but that's me. I like to open up and tinker with my gear.

I will open up my gear just not sure what im really looking at I will probably be taking it to specialty shop I just hope I don't need to invest a lot of money into it I really wanna use this been on a mpc 1000 for 5 yrs and kinda wanna change peace

if your plan is to get it working by taking it to a tech, i would advise just finding one that works for a couple of 100 more

if you knew what you were doing or just grabbing it for parts, it would be a good idea.

otherwise it could end up being a massive and expensive hassle.

i pulled the trigger and bought it for 125$ took it home removed bottom panel and there was a set of fuses replaced the two that were blown and it works good for now
