Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

Setup:
MPC60 is my main sequencer, used with lets say an old 49key midi-controller/synth which has NO ability to key/octave shift/transpose (unlike the newer/modern 49 key and other midi controllers). Obviously, all my rack synths/samplers are connected to the mpc. I used to have a 61key and have always been using that (but UPS broke it in 2..thank you UPS); but have found a dirt cheap Old 49key synth which I really like.

For convenience sake, is it possible to easily shift/transpose the octaves of my 49key midi controller connected to the mpc inside the mpc?

I know I can just shift the octaves/notes inside per synth/sampler unit...but it would be much much easier and quicker if I can do that in 1 step inside the mpc, instead of going through each 4-6+ synths individually just to change octaves. I hope it's possible..otherwise, I may just get another 61key keyboard/synth again (but cannot afford it atm).

(it's an old 49key synth ...that does NOT have octave transpose; but has midi and velocity making it possible to be used as a decent controller)
