Anyone have any luck running VEP5 as a plugin instance within the Ren? The MPC software keeps crashing every time I try to scan the plugin, tried 32bit mode and 64bit mode. No dice.

Thanks,

D

No problems opening VEP5 or playing third party VI's through it.

The issue I'm having is when I export stems/audio...the sound is completely distorted.

FYI, I recently upgraded to OSX 10.7.5 and MPC v1.6. I didn't have this problem on OSX 10.6.8 and MPC v1.5.

I'd be happy if i could get the plugin to pass the scan & load. I was hoping that VEP5 would eliminate the flakiness I get running large instruments in the MPC. 10.8.5 here.

Update, after removing the regular vienna ensemble plug and only scanning vst plugin folder, I was able to get it to load. So far so good, was able to bounce a sequence to two track .wav, will try multitrack next.
