MPC Studio with Pro Tools

Hi,
I`ve been using the classic MPCs like 3000 and 2kxl for a while, but now I`m planning to check out the MPC Studio. Does anyone know how well it syncs with PT? (I`m still on PT 8...)
I like to play the song from PT and the old MPC would play along with MTC or Beat Clock.
Is there any way to simulate this workflow with the Studio? And how do you monitor the drums from the studio? Through a track in PT...?
Thanks a lot if anyone can give some info on this or point me to some relevant tutorials (been searching, but can`t find any good info)

Ok I will narrow it down a bit. I found out about the audio part.

Can I play a whole song in PT while looping for example 8 bars on the MPC? Or do I have to loop PT too?



Sorry if this is a totally newb question, but it`s a feature that annoys me about Reason, and that I really appreciate about the old MPCs
