I bought a beatmaking tutorial video collection from supreme the sunz of man's beatmaker and he makes beats on a 2000xl i believe. I haven't gotten the videos yet but he sent me links to sample collections he put together with ALL, IPT, PGM and PRJ files as well as the wav samples. i only have a 3.5 floppy drive on this thing. can i load the samples in there one by one off the floppy and then load the program file? I don't even have a computer with a 3.5 inch drive to put the info on right now but was thinking i could get a 3.5 usb drive maybe to do stuff like that. he's got a couple long samples that aren't gonna fit on a floppy in here though. would it still recognize them if i sampled them in and then named them the same? is the mpc3000 compatible with these types of files?

I do not think so - but I have not tried. From what I understand, PRJ files are more for the 1000 and on. Supreme uses a 2500 btw on most of his videos which is why he would have all those files. You could sample them into your 3000 and it would recognize it as long as you have enough ram. You can just sample it from the line out to your record ins on your MP
