The Mpc software current export options are really terrible at the moment, I dont know many people who create tracks the way Akai assumed for the Ren.
Track 1 - Kick
Track 2 - Snare
Track 3 - Hat
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I perform most of the take in realtime, or at the very least the kick n snare, while I might lay the hats down 1st. Then plenty of other instruments, within one program, one track. Yeh weird huh?
There is no simple way to export pads in a program, so you have the Akai abnormal way of thinking, and have to export the midi or solo each pad, record in your daw, which both make the workflow for mixdown/bouncing down/exporting sounds a complete mess in this software.
This was my 1st complaint in version 1.0, and 6 updates later, there's still not enough people who don't either appreciate the Native Instruments Maschine drag n drop or export single sounds workflow all just within a program. Still scratching my head, as to why there isn't an outrage from beatmakers, and producers on that 1. lol
It's **** nuts, or nucking futs

AHH another huge complaint of mine still at 1.0 when I wrote them, I mean literally contacted support, maybe 20 minutes after loading the software in my daw, was why in the hell, does the Mpc software not allow Midi out? Every hardware Mpc worked the same, you could set up a midi track in a daw, and get a midi signal from the mpc, record in your daw by tapping the pads on your mpc, you had midi out.
This is still not possible in the current Mpc software, you must use the export midi options,so another complete workflow killer, but NO outraged mpc heads? Weird, you see what I mean, it's complete nonsense, these issues with a hardware Mpc would've made mpc heads lose their mind, but because it's software, which is 10 times more flexible then hardware, if coded right, still not a peep, And here we are today, and these MAJOR issues still aren't addressed from Akai. I don't care about the standalone product personally. Akai please Support the DAW features for those of us who need that workflow..
Crazy
