2-band, 3-band, or 4 band EQ?

I'm buying stuff for my studio, and at this point I am looking for an analog mixer that will be good for mixing down my beats. What would you suggest as far as how many EQ bands I should have in my mixer? Thanks!

I think the real thing to look for is sweepable frequencies (parametric eq). god I love a mixer with parametric eq per channel.

You do know that you have to invest good money to get a mixer that can touch software EQs?
Even freeware EQs like bootEQ or NastyVCS play in a different league than the "usual bedroom producers mixer".

What do you want to invest?
