boombap sound on akai mpc1000

i wanna make boombap *hit on my mpc, but i make drum layer like in other boombap (but for example only) and sound not like on tracki know first reason is my ear and blablabla! swing technics i don't understood i hear like 2000xl or 2000 mpc sound, for 1000mpc i need bought s950 or s1000, s1100. do u know tips & tricks for 1000 mpc? You don't need any specific Machine to make Boom Bap.. Sample Breaks, Turn of your quantize or apply swing %.. Study Boom Bap beats that you like. Filter your drums and just keep it raw. You don't need any specific MPC, Sampler or Daw to make Boom Bap.. If that's what you think, you will be switching MPCs left and right.

Any sampler will give you that boom bap sound. Sampling is like recording, what you put in will sound out. And thats why I tell peeps if you aint grimey for real then you're mr. Clean for fake.

Start out by getting shot monitors and a crappy preamp for that crisp cheap sound. Go all out and spend no more than $20 dollars on turntable. Now make it all sound like you spent a million dollars at a Hollywood studio. Thats how you do boom bap.
