What's up mr. Kempton?
Like your beat a lot, the only thing that disturbed me at first was the hard pan on the intro brasses. But over all a great beat! I like the way it goes down for the verse part with the violins in the background taking the lead.
BTW is this sampled or composed? just out of curiosity.

Wkempton very dope beat!! Maybe a harder hitting (backup) snare would have Been Nice...but then again, This way its nice and clean and there is no chaos although there a lotta boombastic sounds...love it!! And i also wonder is it sampled?? Cuz if its not, it is even more impressive (I use aria player sometimes for those orchestral and brass sounds) all and all props!!

and @magic, that beat is something special, I like some of your other beats on your soundcloud more, kinda nostalgic vibe to it...nice work

It has a sample and some virtual instruments in it. The horns in that sample were so loud and panned right, so thats why I decided to duplicate it and pan them hard left and hard right. Now I was able to balance the volumes a bit. For some reason I panned hard, which is something I rarely do. I'll check tomorrow was it necessary, or could I be able to bring them more back to center. Thanks for the feedback guys!

Oh and I actually just lost gigs of drum samples as my hard drive died. Guess if I had any backups? Luckily Ren saves programs and copies the samples to each project folder, so atleast the bread and butter sounds were saved. :worthy:

that's a shit man! Hardrives (optical ones) should be vanished from planet earth :-D
The hard panning thing is more sensitive in a laptop than in monitors. At first I listen to it in my laptop and thought my left speaker was broken or sumting cos I only heard the right. Had to put my ear next to the speaker to realise it wasn't broken
