Not sure if this has been explained, not sure how to search this particular subject but I got a 4 bar loop 5/4, 5/4, 5/4, 11/8. 11/8 is to long 5/4 is to short and cuts off the last part. Tried making it 5 bar with /16, /32 but I need a /64. Anyone know what to do?

whats with the odd timing ?

cant you just use a normal timing, ie 4/4 and adjust the tempo?

if its too slow double it like ^ said

I just went by how long the main loop was and built everything around that, so you mean put it at 240?

Originally I had it as just 5 different 4/4s but anytime I'd have to loop it over I'd have to do it like A1 01:01:00, A1 02:02:25, A1 03:03:20, A1 04:04:25 or some shit like that but that became a pain in the ass to try and line up the drums and bass in the other sequences. I'm using OsXL btw.

Yeah, explanation's not one of my strong points. It's basically a loop that repeats 4 times but the length of the loop is 5/4 except I put some extra shit on the end so it sounds clean when I bring it back to bar one. So bar 4 is set at 11/8ths but it's to long and 10/8ths cuts it short, I need to figure out how to split the difference. Tried making it 4 bars and a baby bar for the 5th to no avail.

double the tempo. leave the 5/4 loop part, for your 11/8, just create it in 5/4 timing , but make it double the tempo (10/8)

Would that work?

otherwise change the tempo of the 11/8 until it stops being cut off :)

I think I'm just gonna resample the bars onto one pad and do it like that.

Yeah that should work, plus it'll give me some spare pads which is never a bad thing.

 The only time I can ever get it to work in my favor is when I'm trying to make some offbeat drunken style drums and it's easier to just do it the tedious way then to learn it some I've always been like **** it.
