sound design with the mpc 1000 - share your technics

are there people who use the mpc1000 in an undogmatic way for sound design?
i mean using the mpc different as still loop an play sounds.

When I owned an MPC1000, I used a lot of the features from the JJ OS to design sounds. The filter and amp envelopes are some of the features that would be found on the old rack mount samplers. There's really a lot more... too many feats to list. But I highly recommend the JJ OS for the 1000.

Just try anything you can think of, experiment. Throw a tennis ball in a bowl of soup and record it, whatever.

I really like the aftertouch filter settings in de jjos2xl. Simple adsr settings and tuning can transform a sound completely too.

do people like arovane does e.g. pitch up sequences, etc. to use the sampler in a different way??
