Akai is Sega at this point, selling generic Sonic games and hoping for a bang. Like Phantom firecrackers, throw twenty in a bucket and only three will sound off.

I've used reason since 2000 and propellerhead is a good company. you can basically do anything with reason a ren can do, plus more, you are not gonna have the bugs like with the ren, they would not put that shit out other wise, u can get a mpc-type controller to use with reason and easily map all the knobs and faders with a right click. u can save a templet to open every time you open a new project with all ur settings there…i think all these controllers with dedicated software is just a nitch market, reason and other software has been able to be set up like this for years and years, since way before machine came out.. all these companies want is your money, they pray on people that don't wanna figure out how to set these things up… i say **** EM! reason has been around for 14 years now, they must have something right if they are still doing it. do u think the ren will be around for that long?? I don't…plus all the years I've been on reason i haven't had any stress over bugs that i can recall….so the way i feel is…invest in a company/people that will invest in you,. nu-akai has proved not to be that..look at how many times they dump ship and move to the next money maker, not focusing on one thing, for too long., where as propellerheads main focus has always been 1 thing, reason..

I still think anyone who has not contacted InMusic about Akai's bullish*t and your general dissatisfaction with the handling of the Mpc Ren/Studio Product is doing themselves a disservice. Trust me, they read those emails, and I got tons of reaction from just one email almost within a day of writing it, (to Inmusic, not akai, they won't answer) I was hearing from all kinds of Akai people that very next day, you need to go to the source to get heard, just letting y'all know, if this this shit keeps up, write to them, u do know its almost 6 months now and no official maverick driver!

why was this moved? This is not a feature suggestion whatsoever, nor is it off topic. Thats some real bias action right there. If I didn't know any better Akai is running this forum, or the forum owner wants Akai to "look good" so he can sell his mpc tutorials, cmon man I see your hustle Im not stupid, please move this back to the proper area and get off your ego. Some of us are trying to come together to make a statement that we actually want to try to improve this product. You just slapped this topic in here so no one would see it. Just because there are a few negative threads about the Ren doesn't mean your mpc turotial sales are going to decrease Come on man what the hell is this crap

Yeah exactly what I'm saying, it's not a "feature" suggestion at all, it was originally in the Ren/Studio forum but its not a big deal really, just didn't see the reasoning behind it being moved and caught me by surprise bc I couldn't find the thread
