Im playing old samplefriendly lps on college radio from 4-8pm this sunday evening(12th). my show will stream at: www.kdur.org its news from 5-6pm but before and after its gonna be jazz and funk w /bits o soul in between. this sunday and the next three sundays too..

You have to listen online right? Anyone know how I can record that? I can't do it when it's actually playing because I usually work Sunday nights. So... any way to save/record online radio??

Yhea I'd love to get a sample friendly stream of old funky/jazzy stuff, but like the guy said, how do we record it and isn't the sound quiality going to be quite daft, not exactly like hooking up a turntable is it :?

if your streaming with winamp, there is an audio stream ripper plugin, which i think is available from winamp.com
if not google it and youll get something for sure. im sure there r a ton of em out there

sorry i didn't really mean you should sample it..i was just trying to spark some interest.. today i only got to play from 3:45 to 5pm so i got cut short..next week 4-8pm and a few weeks following too...

I don't give a ****. If you're playing something I don't have, and I want it, I'ma sample that shit. I'll leave the house and record some awkward radio stations and listen to that shit when I come back just to see if I could get a sample.

I don't care where it's from.

speectre you dont actually have to listen but you have to have your computer on ,here's how i doit you have a vcr right put on the slowest speed which would be EP/SLP then you take an output of you comp, and hookit to you vcr's in put and you set the channel on your tv if you want video or you can just record the audio of your compter and theres no picture just sound , what i do is put it on cartoon network and have that play while your recording the audio, wah la you have a six hour tape of music with video on it . this is how record my sets when i'm on the radio too. i juust record from the radio tho and use the tv as visuals.

you get really nice sound and it's anolog sounding after. just like a big audio tape.
use a new tape cause it sounds much better.
