Sampling MPC Studio

So you can sample in live from itunes on the crappy $4.99 impc app but you can't do that in the software on an MPC Studio? Someone please tell me this is just a bad dream...

Not all of us want to chop in the same damn way. Give us the options that, I don't know, an AKIA MPC HAS?

What os/pc you got?

plug your outputs into your inputs and just sample that, or use sound flower

I don't want to use Soundflower because in my experience it's glitchy and it degrades the sound quality.

if you dont use external soundcard you have no choice really..

If you have another external soundcard, you can use a cable to run from headphone out from your built in soundcard to the inputs of your external soundcard. soundflower does this internally via software/driver routing .. IT's free.. And works with every other software.

Thanks for the reply. I guess Soundflower it is...which is retarded that I have to use a third-party program just to sample.

you don't have to use a 3rd party program, all you do is plug one of your outputs into one of your inputs

audio cables from your output channel and plug them into your inputs on your sound card and sample that

This was something I brought up a few months back... I wanted the ability to sample internally like soundflower to be a built in audio input preference in the MP software... Would've been nice.. but I doubt they'll do it since not enough people have a problem with it.. but oh well.

What's a external sound card? I'm an MPC dude, not a computer whiz.

external sound card = audio interface

On your audio interface, with audio cables connect your outputs from your audio interface into any inputs on your audio interface, and sample them
