cut and paste bars?

last night i tried everything i could think of to do this and couldnt come up with a way.

for example lets say i got a 12 bar sequence. ive decided i dont like the first 6, but the last 6 are what im looking for. so i go to erase and erase all notes in the first 6 bars. now i got a sequence thats 12 bars long but the first halfs blank.

i would like to cut and paste bars 6-12 into a new sequence, so that its now bars 1-6 in a new sequence instead of bars 6-12 on a half blank sequence. i cant figure this out.

i know how to copy an entire sequence but i dont want that. i know how to make it loop just bars 6-12 and ignore the blank 6 bars, but i dont want that either, (and it also doesnt seem to work correct when you add more sequences in song mode anyways)

it seems like a relatively simple thing to do right? oh and im running the free jj os

1. mode
2. seq edit (pad13)
3. f2 (bars)
4. cursor to edit
4. scroll to delete

you dont have a manual?

Why not copy the last 6 bars over to the first 6 and then erase the last 6 if you really need to.
