Mute Groups?!

What exactly is this? Is it like in the params screen under the polyphony sub-screen where you choose certain sounds to mute others?

^ no. only 2 sounds.. that's the one thing that i miss from using a software sequencer.

the mpc1000 and 4000 have mute groups up to 64, and they're 'true' mute groups not just pairing.
