Pk there is a way to manipulate the rules, and I'll be blatant as this is the biggest waste of a sample I think I've witnessed in 2 years of battling, the rule is you can use other samples, now what I will do is pick something with class, let this turd bowl run for about 4 bars, whip it out, then some real music can kick in.

Now Midi.......you have probably shot yourself in the foot with this sample, don't be surprised if in future you don't get votes, people will think of what your sample quality is like when you win battles. You go posting cheesy tacky cringy music like that, there are going to be reactions. It's how you have repaid you voters. I swear after hearing this I've locked my neck and shoulder from cringing, I lasted 15 sec's before having to throw the headphones off, thought I was going to have a seizure and need an epi-pen.

I gotta agree with Obi, the sample's **** wack. My hat's off to anyone who can flip this decently without using the vocals.

you can tell he typed that right after ripping those headphones off...

well im def open for an additional sample being added. I don't think most of us are going to work with that.

i agree with you odk.. but i suppose I'm expected to keep the playing field equal..

so ill quote this scholar:

Obi-Dan-Kenobi wrote:Easy Chaps !! just pop in to check, have we got people bailing out on samples AGAIN!! :Sigh: face your demons, you can't get beaten up by WAV or MP3, every I can't or I won't, you lose out, wonder how many tunes we love, have had samples of tunes you don't like.

let me know what you want to do midi. its entirelly up to you. you can tell us :fku: work with it. or add another sample. whatever. let me now.

i did have a battle pack ready i can send to you i just changed it last minute.after 10+ consecutive battles with jazz tracks filled with solo instruments it would be cool to have some actual skill shown in taking a sample and actually flipping it into beat...i know its a classic i know its not easy that was the point. ill send my original battlepack to ivory and he can edit it in and you can use whatever you want from there
