Hello to all!
I'm new to the forum and sampling.
I am trying to find what the right setup is for me and looking all over the net wont give me the right anwers so I thought of asking the experts here.
I intend to make music on the "experimental" side, using drones, field recording sounds and beats - all using a sampler.
On one hand I want to use a good sampler for home & studio production, so I am thinking of getting an APC 40 using Ableton, which is on my budget.
On the other hand I want to use a hardware sampler for live perfomances.
So my question is, is it possible and wise to prepare and produce songs on Ableton
and then transfer to the MPC, say, the basic backing track and rhythm section with some effects and other parts for stage performance,
or should I get an MPC-1000 and do both?
Thanks in advance to anyone putting their time to read, hope someone can help a guy out!
