no, but if you don't care about fx, and you will use firewire... the mk3 might be the same unit as the mk2.. so it might be worth checking if the converters are maybe the same and the other potential specs.


Was just to confirm that the mk2 doesn't have an FX. 8)

for the sake of the argument, the focusrite 18i20 is solid.

Very happy with the unit, ADAT in and OUT was a huge plus for me.

What i ended up doing was spending the 500 ($570 Aus) on the Scarlett, and i bought a cheap Behringer ADA8000 unit off ebay (used) for around $180 which now gives me 16 channels of recording for roughly $750.........

Happy shopping, and dont buy a Tascam US1800 :)
