Sounds missing in sequence.

I use count in, And i really like to play with quantize OFF, And I like to play a little offbeat to get that nice swing-feeling..

After recording go into step edit. Can you see note data for the hits that you can't hear?

I never used step edit.. If I press step edit there's nothing at all there.

Hmm.. Maybe i should trim my hihat-slice more ?.

I've just recorded the hihat on 1 sec sample time, Applied it to the pad, And played it as it was.

Must me the finger-technique..

Can't think of anything else.

Because it seems to work if I play the pads like really lift the finger up before you hit the next one, ( play it harder with hands flying around and shit )

But it feels stiff and I loose the feeling if I play like that..

As you can see in the video, I hold the pads with my fingers all the time, And i just press-->release a little bit, with the finger still on the pad, press-release-press-release.. yeah, you know.

Strange that you can hear the sounds when they are played the first way,
But in sequence they're gone..

Guess ill have to release the fingers more clearly.

Well the step edit is just a overview of waht you've recorded, if you hit record and play something, its gonna be in the step edit cus its the same thing: the recorded notes for a specific track.

Judging from the video i didnt feel any notes were missing? Could you do a simple 1/16 hihat pattern where any lost notes would be obvious?

are you doing Note off? cus if you hold two notes at the same time they cancel eachother out or make a unwanted sound. Perhaps you should play it with mono/poly?

Check the video again.. I recorded straight 16th note hihat, Yes, You can hear all the sounds when record mode is on.

After that. Watch the end of the video. After I've deselected the count in button and play my pattern again.

Ops, Now it's not the same groove as I played when I recorded.

Im not using note off. Im using poly/mono. It's like both of them cancel each other out too.
