my suggestion is check if its soldered properily first
seems like you are missing signal or maybe cold soldered
(late in on this thread)
is the reason you want to bypass so you have more gain?

What's that 1st sample in Loops A, Piper?

I heard a beat on YouTube awhile back by someone
and wasn't impressed at all BUT, now hearing some
pitched up/down breaks at 18kHz (that's the MID
increment mentioned in file names, or filter?)

Got a new appreciation for the FZ def

1st sample in Loops A = Donald Byrd - Think Twice

Mid = sampled with samplerate at 18kHz

On the FZ, is it possible to pitchbend samples independently that are within the same bank?
I cannot for the life of me work it out if you can. I can pitchbend one sample without affecting others, but only because the other samples have the pitch value set to 0 and are therefore un-bendable
