NEWBIE question: Can the "Studio" control an external hardwa

I have a Novation BS2.

Also, I'm assuming it can, can the the Studio do everything the Aturia SparkLE do and more?

I don't know if it does the same or more than the arturia but it works with my KS-Rack.

Can it sequence external instruments rather?

If I understand well your question, I am sequencing the ks rack from the mpc software, by a midi program, previously having setup the midi in and outs on the ren.

Yes, thats what I'm after. Didnt want to purchase the Studio/Ren without finding this out first.

Was it relatively easy to set up?

I have my synth and Studio midi connected via cables.
