Installing OS

Not got my 1k or manual with me as at work. Also still waiting for PC so using friends for downloads, but last night downloaded new OS from akaipro which seems to be showing on my flash card ok. It also showed up ok on the PC as mpc1000 BIN File (?). My question is what now ? when I look in Other mode it still says version 1.04. What do i do to install??
Am I asking silly questions ??

Load the "BIN" file the exact same way you would load a sample into the machine. Afterwards, go and check the version number again..

Thanks Dog, been away since posting this. Will give it a go

This is how you update the os:

Turn power on while pressing down the window button

Press the rec button. MPC1000 will start processing the update.

Forgot to mention:
The CF with the bin file has to be in your MPC while updating.
