Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

I've been using the MPC Studio for about a month now and it's been going well. But for whatever reason now when I go to export a sequence as an audio file as separate tracks...some of the tracks won't export. They're not muted or anything and it doesn't seem to be a specific reason as certain tracks using the same program will export.

It's entirely possible I'm missing something and I'm an idiot. As I said I've only been using it for a month.

They're plugins that came with MPC Studio. It seems like if I put a plugin on I can't export that track even if I take the effect off. So I guess if I want to mix a track I either have to do it all in the MPC software or all in Logic.

Unless there's a fix for it.

Btw, thanks for all the help.

When you insert an effect plugin as Pad Insert Effects, it changes the Audio Route for that pad from the track mixer to a submix.

You might need to separately export the submixes, as well as the track mixer outputs.

If you set each individual plugin insert in the Pad Insert Effects section to <none>, then you also have to click the red ON button to turn the Pad Insert Effects off, before you can change the Audio Route output back from a submix to the track mixer.

That's fuken wak......
I wonder if this will change with the 1.7 update.. Whats the point of that? Why the fuk would you want that to automatically route that way? doesn't make sense? HOw infuriating...

I'm using the mpc ren to only sample and sequence beats..The only sound shaping i do is with filters pitch etc...
i mix/engineer in reaper so i never came across it...

I use jack osx to route mpc software into reaper so i can have better routing features... like sidechain pumping... But still have mpc as the main clock/master...

the limiting virtual outputs is shit. I hope they add more/double the count in the future...

The deeper you get into the software, the more of a pain in the arse it becomes..

Yes, it is one of the questions I would like answered by the development team, why they made it like that?
