Stopping Loops After Hitting "Stop" Button

If I have a loop (rex file) playing w. my sequence, and I stop the sequence midway, the Rex plays until the end.

There must be a way to stop the loop from playing when I hit stop on the sequencer, as this is what it does when I'm browsing.

Anyone know how? Can't find it in the manual...

I dunno if it works for the software MPC's but on the hardware you just go to the record screen and it'll peace out

Did you try double tapping the Stop button?

press stop 3 times to stop all sounds

Aaah that's handy drove me nuts, when I sampled ext synth, and just chop it minimal in like two peaces, to not interfear with notes placement...sometimes 1 chop, sometime none at all ( please audio tracks) but if I press stop logically the sample/chop plays to the end...nice to know u can actually stop this....thanks
