I use the qlinks like an asr 10 to scour and adjust start and end points on samples while trimming. Howevever, is there a way which I can adjust the sensitivity so its not so coarse?

Sliders aren't precise for chopping. If your going for a rough cut and that's exactly what your looking for (unorthodox chops that give you varying start/end times) then yes. For precise, more traditional usage in chopping, no.

Yeah indeed ZOOM doesn't help sorry.

I loaded a 2/3 minutes sample in os2xl, put zoom in at max and moved the slider as slow as possible. The first increment value with the Q link was 50 000, really too much. I think it should be coherent with the zoom level at least.

I don't know how the ASR works but if i'm not mistaken the q link feature in TRIM is not implemented in OS3 yet. It could be worth to do a request if you really want to see something improved.

Peace

ASR10 has coarse and then fine, that's it. But the coarse is finer than 50,000 and it moves through numbers slower than slider chopping in my 2kxl.

If it could move like that in an mpc it would most likely be seen as a useful function and not the novelty (imo) that resides in an mpc.

I was told that it is difficult to make the q link adjustment efficient with different zoom in/out settings. Even if it was possible it wouldn't be for OS2XL due to a lack of space for new parameters. Same story

Thats how the SP was.
Two sliders each for the front and back.

Editing was lightening fast by moving the two rough and fine sliders while holding down the repeat trigger. One slider running from the begging to the end and then boom, grab the second one and zero in like a guided missile.

You could find any point in a sample and zero in to the closest increment in less then 10 seconds.
It would be nice if the dual 1000 sliders could do the same.

All the more reason to get excited about the possibilities and potential of OS3, even if its not quite ready for workaday prime-time yet.
