Can I sample a live instrument into the MPC while a drum loo

Like the title of this thread says, I'd like to sample some live playing on my MS2000 while the MPC is playing a sequence of drums. I just upgraded to the JJOS XL OS. Can I do that on this operating system?

yes, you can do this...i do it all the time...
first, make sure that the keyboard is plugged into the audio input on the mpc...
while the sequence is playing, you can go into the record mode and the sequence keeps playing...
you can hit record on the mpc and it will record your keyboard as long as you have it set to record from the analog in
