Good day all,
I just got myself an AKAI MPK mini device and I'm lovin it. The only problem I'm having is that I can't seem to figure out a way to map each pad to my channel of choice in FL Studio. I guess you'll have to be an FL user to understand the terminology. A channel can be linked to any audio file, so I can for instance, make 4 channels containing a Kick, Snare, Hat, and Clap respectively.
When I open the MPK mini editor that you can download, it appears to show some options for mapping and uploading pad information to any DAW. Unfortunately I don't quite understand the terminology shown in the editor, so I'm not sure what would link or map to what in FL Studio.
What exactly do the PC and CC #s mean and is this how I would link these pads up to channels in FL Studio? If it's not, how would I go about doing this? I would really appreciate any help. I'd like to be comfortable assigning the pads or keys on the MIDI into FL Studio.
