im so confused. manual doesnt reference this. ive sat with it a few days trying to figure it out but i cant.
what i am trying to do is get the plethora of premade instruments/synths/ pianos i have in logic pro x to record into my mpc software. i cannot use it as a plugin within logic x because it is buggy as hell and resets every 5 secs or so. is this possible? this may be insanely stupid but the only way ive tried to do it thus far is route the midi ports to the mpc within the software, and trigger the sounds with my controller in logic pro x. of course this doesnt work. does anyone have a solution?

You can't "sample" midi at all. You can only "sample" audio. There is no audio data to "sample" in midi.

Exactly, if you aren't trying to "sample audio" from Logic into the Ren, like the video I posted describes, start up a plugin track in the Ren software and link it to one the VSTs that you want to use. Then, export the audio into Logic to mix it, if you want.

i think that may be the problem. none of the vsts are showing up. there not in the vst folder within logic. mad confusing. i never said i was trying to sample midi. i said im trying to get access to the instruments within logic in my mpc software.
