:WTF: i just downloaded it and installed the maverick driver, restarted my mac,and now my computer is beeping like, I uninstalled the maverick driver, went back to the driver that came with 1.6, restarted, now my computer is still beeping in my lap with no audio interface attached to it, like are you kidding me Akai? now my mac is **** up, how do I fix this??????? is this a joke?

Please tell me you made a backup clone of your system before installing a beta driver on it. Or maybe a Time Machine backup?

I'm sure there are lots of reasons for those beeping sounds, clearly this is related to the audio driver you installed, unlikely that this could affect your memory. But even if it were the memory, that's fixable.

I think the first thing to do is not panic. Contact Akai via the email address they give on that PDF, list your system spec and explain the problem in detail.
