my computer boots, desktop loads, and I get infinite beep sounds, not high pitched, more low pitched beep sounds, on and on in 4 second intervals

its not like I get 1 beep, 2 beeps, 3 beeps, or 5 beeps... I get infinite beeps, I just spent an hour doing all kinds of rebooting trying to uninstall it with the uninstaller that came with the driver, booting in safe mode, I dunno what the hells causing this, doesn't seem to be the same beeps they are talking about on the apple forum

its GOT to be an issue with my mac, its beeping on its own endlessly, all I know is it was caused by installing that mavericks beta driver

All I can think of doing is going to apple store support now, pain in the assess, why did i download that stupid file

Everywhere I've looked suggests the beeping is the RAM, so I can only assume it's coincidental that you installed that driver (seems unlikely though). Did you drop the macbook at any point?

Anyway, many people have fixed this by powering down, taking out the RAM and re-seating it. You could give that a try - you could also try it with a single stick in at a time to see if one of your sticks is bad.

Remember to discharge yourself before touching the RAM. Give it a go, cant really hurt.

Regardless of any of this, next priority should be to sort out a reliable backup solution. IMO no one should be running a computer without at least two separate backups to fall back on - if you run a business on your computer, you should take it much further.

As you are on a laptop, maybe a 3TB Time Capsule as this backs up wirelessly via Time Machine (or a NAS that supports Time Machine, such as Synology, which would give you mirrored backups), plus buy a 2.5" external USB disk (or two) and use SuperDuper or similar to regularly create complete working clones of your system.

Then there's online backup just in case your place gets burned down....

Still beeping over here, I back up my music on an externa HD but Im def gonna backup my stuff with time machine from now on, can't stop the beeping though, so maybe I should do like tutor said, open up my macbook and remove the RAM and re-insert it, is that what u meant, Tutor? Also talked with Akai support they said they haven't seen this in month's of testing, lol, really?????
