I think it might be either the MPC DJ, or a new APC.




Whatever it is, I doubt it will be a Renaissance update, and we will be bitching about them again next week.

I don't know if they've sold many of the APC series since that dropped. Seems like a conflict of interest if they also make a competing product, although I suppose the InMusic brands all make the same types of controllers anyway, so it probably is a new APC.

might be mpc dj, didn't they show that like 2 years ago? Haven't seen it since.

I'm actually hoping its something with 1.7 more stuff they are adding or at least more detailed info, and that wolf graphich hmmm maybe like vstinstrument packs that akai will be offering that integrate with the Ren qlinks and everything, more synths, drum, sample sound packs, etc...

maybe something along the lines like Komplete is a great add-on for MAschine, but I dunno if Akai has the sound designers or developers to pull off what NI did with their Komplete/Kontakt/module type plug in which works great with maschine or any daw, maybe akai has sound vsts, that fit right into the Ren controls, Im thinking a synth or something, could be anything, they don't give enough clues anyways.
