need help. no sounds on main outs or headphone

For me, nothing g worked except for removing the main ad/da board from the mother board and reseating it after cleaning.

I will give it a shot

if it boots ram is not the issue, although reseating ram wont cause problems.

it would be impossible to tell

note to self: mark boards with paint pen if i ever sell it.

i wont sell it! i dont think. at some point it will be hard to keep running im sure. parts run out and demand wanes. might even be a good idea to stock up now.

I had the same issue with scratchy from output (no legible sound), onboard 16MB was not register without memory addition. ITS the PC CPU board with the memory slot in my case. I swapped AD/DA but that was not the issue. I contacted that same seller on ebay and was able to obtain the PC CPU board. Once i get and replace it I will report back.

Operation was a success. I started to unit without memory because it never booted up with the old CPU board and it worked fine.
