I want to connect the mk to my mpc but as i understand the mk only has 1 midi channel so does that mean i can only use 1 patch per beat unless i sample my live perfomance?I have the ttusb plugged directly into the mpc's sample ins because 1. i currently dont have a mixer but that wont be the case for long(looking for a good price on a digi 002) and 2.i prefer chopping samples on the mpc vs on the computer.......ive been usin a basic mpc+tt setup for the past 6 years so adding a synth and mixer's new to me so im not sure where to start.....any help's appreciated

The 002 is fairly old now.

It is no longer supported by Avid, but still seems to work with Pro Tools 11 and Mavericks.

This is probably because it uses the same drivers as the 003, which is still supported until March 2016.

A list of end of support dates for the various Avid interfaces can be found here...

As it is not supported and tested, there is no guarantee that it will keep working with future Pro Tools updates/upgrades.

Just something to keep in mind.

the reason i was leasning toward the 002 vs the 0 03 is that the 002 has a stand alone mixer mode so the 002 functions without pro tools running while that feature isnt on the 003 so pt would have to be running whether i need iT or not,not a dealbreakef, while the price diff is

back to the mk though, considering the midi limitatations i was looking for something in the same price range,i found 2. the alesis micron and the akai miniak.......which would you reccomend
