that's how i felt watching this video, I wanna say they are trying to tap into new market because they found out they cant fool the old market (us) this used to be funny to me but now it's getting sad...I cant stop to think if ren flops it could be last mpc produced. something I do not want to see happen personally.

I think that's bit of a stretch and more of a assumption people tend to make when they see someone other then those pale looking akai reps, I needs sun glasses every time that dude with chopin haircut and pinokio nose pops up

Until I see it posted on an official Akai site, I'd be inclined to say this is unlikely to have anything to do with Akai.

It's either a demo, a film college project or just a way for 'Showtime Solutions' to generate a bit of chatter about them. I see they've disabled comments now.

holy mother of god that was awful.

judging by the looks of it, the lightning and the colour scheme i´d say its official.
if this "showtime soliutions" did make it as a portfolio piece, without a disclaimer anywhere - they are dumb as rock.
who makes an infomercial for fun anyway?
it is completely illegal to put on a logo of a company at the start if you are not affiliated with the said brand.

the earlier videos were blunt but this is straight brainless.

in other news elektron makes a total integration plugin for their boxes.
akai, so disconnected.

so looks like akai contracts 3rd party company to promote their gear bcuz they arent having much luck on their own...I'd be curious to see ren/studio sales numbers...it's pure speculation but something tells me they are very very low
