5000,2500 and the 500 discontinued or.....?

We'll I was looking around on Akai's slick new site and I found myself checking out the 5000,2500 and 500 expecting to see "this item has been discontinued" well I didn't see that instead I saw tons of support for each machine....?,does this mean that Akai realizes that people are still using and buying these machines and has decided to sell them again? Or am I wishing to for to much?

They stopped manufacturing them a long time ago, and many spare parts are now NLA (no longer available). No doubt there's still some unsold 'new' stock still floating around and they often sell refurbished units on the akaipro web site, so they'll still provide some element of support for those machines.
