My MPC has gone a bit bizarre

Hi guys,

Every now and then my MPC plays back samples all distorted and, well bizarre.

Anyone had this before? Only really started since I installed JJOS XL screen but this could be pure coincidence or something I knocked on installing.

Anyone any ideas on how I start fault finding?

Help appreciated.

I had the same issue on 128XL and the solution (I found out from MPC-Tutor) is to go to the record screen and change the input from analog to digital and then back to analog.

At least that worked for me.

Really, so its the OS? No way, thought my MPC was broken some how.

I noticed all the individual outputs work fine its just the stereo.

if the above advice doesnt help, try re-seating ram chips, sometimes bizarre things happen when they come loose from banging...if it still dont help, take them out completely in case they gone bad to see if that helps

If it's the same issue as I have with 128XL then yeh it's the OS, JJ knows about it also so hopefully a fix is in the works.
