Even if it was a joke (and I believe it's a terrible name and logo, btw), WHY would you say that on video for everyone to see and hear? And if it was a joke, HOW in the heck did it actually stick as the product name? I get the feeling this guy has too much input into product strategy. He just seems so out of touch with so many things.

But I don't know the dude - he might be cool. But just seems out of touch.

I think it's his/their way of trying to make out they aren't jumping on the analogue bandwagon, even though it's obvious that Akai are a company that follows these days.

Someone was saying that it did actually make sound, but they didn't want it recorded.

Probably didn't want to be compared to the Airas, in terms of sound, possibly because it doesn't sound any good, in comparison to the Aira VA 808/909/303 sounds.

Will it have vintage mode ? or just vintage side wood mode ? lol
