Can you use multiple key groups in the same sequence? And no

I know this may be a dumb question but I'm new to MPC's. Just learned how to make akey group and want to use multiple key groups in the same sequence and not just layer them on each other. But when I try it never seems to work.

Just assign each keygroup to its own track. What exactly is the problem?
