Overhead mic mount

Looking for a good suggestion for an overhead mic stand. Basically I'd like to have the stand mounted from the ceiling down and able to maneuver easily.

yes but can you hang it from the ceiling?

apparently that rode mic mount comes with two mounting options:
one is a clamp for mounting to a desk and it also can be mounted thru a hole in the table top.
so if you fix some plate to the ceiling you can mount that thing, too.

maybe build something like a square wood plate with four stripes of wood around to mount it...
just be a bit creative... ...sometimes you have to take what is offered and tweak it to fit to your needs. have a look at http://www.ikeahackers.net for ideas of all sorts.
