Review: iMPC for iPhone

Well I use my MPC nearly every day and I found the app baffling. I'm sure good results can be had just not sure I've got the patience for such a tiny interface.

I think it's fun to play around on when your waiting or something like that. I like that I can get and idea down anytime I want. What would be kinda dope is if you could hook say an MPD18 up to it.

With IOS7 you can now use the Camera Connection Kit to plug USB controllers into the IPhone. I plugged my Quneo 16 pad controller in and used it with iMPC on my IPhone and it worked. The Quneo is bus powered and has a template for iMPC. The MPD18 should work if you plug it into a powered USB hub.

Digging it so far,I have to get the sampler down.

Might try iMPC. Bought Beatmaker 2 for the iPhone and could see the potential but just was no fun due to the small fiddly interface.

When I got an iPad I remembered I'd bought it and loaded it up and its amazing.

Think I'd just rather read Wikipedia or listen to music on my iPhone if killing time. Got enough places to make beats.
