Very impressed with the MPC Ren - even on Mavericks

Hello all.

My first post. Just to say that I'm actually very impressed with The Ren. I've got Ableton and have also owned Maschine and JJOS MPCs.

I have to say the Ren is something else. I haven't had one crash yet after installing the software. The hardware is great and the software's really cool. Plus, it's got a great swing and a brilliant sound.

I was worried that it would all be a heinous bug-infested nightmare, but have been pleasantly surprised. There is hope for Akai! Maybe they need more praise, rather than constant criticism.

Why not? I see them at least getting the LIST(see Ableton's Sampler then shake your head at the new Akai/Ableton HARDWARE) of features of a mpc4000/5000 in there AND bugs cleared soon. You won't wait years like me. You're late so it will be only months.
