So I went to guitar center to trade in some gear including the Ren, got rid of it once and for all. Walked out with a Fantom FA-06, couldn't be more hype about it.


So quick lol?

Honestly man, have to do research before you buy gear.. that's what I did with my MStudio.. and I am 100% satisfied with it

or it could be an obsession.. the satisfaction of having a new piece of equipment in the studio.. the un-boxings and tearing of plastics lol :popcorn: then get bored afterwords

Ren has vacated unfortunately, but Iim chilling, I think Im good now, might even try to control the mpc software with the maschine one day, could easily fit an mpc studio right right next to the maschine.

unfortunately this had to go too....if they add chopping in the sampler section I'll def go back for this

That is based on your patience; Akai is still new to the software world. They just hired a bunch of credible software writers( no source but i know). stick with your REN. trust me that NI studio just looks cute and isn't as efficient ( not to make this a NI/MPC argument).My recommendation is to wait until 1.7 and if you get no desired updates, then turn to that NI POS.

In a perfect world sure, but don't forget how Akai left the Mpc 1000, 2500,5000, and 500. The final released OS updates were bug ridden and abandoned.

It's been almost two years since release and a few forum members can see the writing on the wall. Outside of that one video from Musikmesse 2014 we would have never heard a peep about 1.7 except for what Pete can talk about.

Lol, actually they are a perfect equilateral triangle from my my mix position and the speakers are now closer to my ear level, so what u blabbing out man? You aint here in the room, you just going off pics


@Simon Australia... Im not even responding to this sudden burst of negativity, sound like you're mad I got rid of the Ren I dunno why but worry bout yaself man. You're a clown bro, keep working for Akai, ever heard of GC 30 day return policy, I bought the FA knowing if it didn't do what I wanted I was just going to exchange it for a Maschine studio. I did my research, understand?

How were your own rants and bursts of negativity that we have had to put up with for the last 6 months or more?

Do you remember a little while ago, about the time you were writing letters to Akai, where you would start ranting in every single thread where someone asked anything at all about the Renaissace/Studio/MPC Software? :lol:

So hyped about the FA-06 one day, talkin' smack about it the next, that was doing your research? Too **** funny!

I have been ranting non stop every thread every post for 6 months straight really? There were maybe about 3 threads total that I was actually ranting in the past 6 months, just like every other 75% of the people here who think the Ren sucks. If you dont like my opinions then thats your problem, to the fact you start getting personal shows you're immaturity.

Either way, whats your problem with me writing to a company???? Thats also a sign you are insecure and worrying what someone else does. Frankly, little boy, get off my nuts. You mad mama aint feeding you or something? I was hyped about the FA, sure, the next day I returned it I wasn't talking smack at all, just telling the FACTS, the keyboard can't chop, got great sounds, good sequencer etc... but can't chop, thats talking smack and ranting? Lamp asked me about the keyboard I gave him my honest opinion, simple and plain, you see me ranting is your problem right there, no one is ranting. This discussion was cool till you came in blabbing at the mouth.

I'm talking mpcs music and machines, and your talking about bitching, ranting, and whatnot so if anything your post are just trolling. So I wouldn't be surprised if you were an Akai employee trolling,.
