XLCD VELOCITY QUESTION

I can no longer find (in the manual or on the unit itself) the place to change the Velocity Percentage on my MPC 1000 now that I have the XLCD.

It used to be right above the program change parameter. Now it is gone?

Totally, yes, that is what im talking about the main screen, im looking for velocity % field on the XLCD and i cant find it.

trying to change the values on the mini mixer below has no effect, i imagine that just controls gains for outgoing audio. not midi.

Go to program, then I think it's amp, then turn all your velocities (not volume ) down to zero, now the mixer at the bottom of the main page will work perfectly.

thanks for the suggestion. I've tried it. It does seem to help what I'm going for.
I don't see how it would as the program section affects samples loaded into a program. I am trying to change the velocity of midi notes going out to external gear. on tracks that are not even using a program.

try going to step edit. you can adjust every hits velocity there.

yeah but thats the velocity for each pad
i want global percentage velocity for midi notes going out
